I imagine this is now the point where I need to introduce myself, right?

Hi, my name is Giulia, nice to meet you 🙂 I am glad you found this little spot of the world wide web! It is weird to think about someone reading this, but also very comforting. However, I hope you are fine. I should probably start talking about me now, so we can get to know each other, but I really hate talking about myself. Let’s keep it short and simple.

I love books and comics and graphic novels- basically I love all written words. There is no specific genre I prefer; my reading taste buds are all over the place. A good book for me is when I forget everything around me, when time does not exist anymore and I am exploring new worlds and grounds. I also spend most of my time sketching and doodling- so I hope to incorporate that somehow in here as well. By now you probably noticed my bad English skills. English is not my mother tongue, but I am drawn to the language and most of the books I read are in English. It seemed natural to me to start this blog in English and I hope to make new, international friends here! Please correct me if I got something wrong- I love to learn how to improve!

More fun facts about me:

• I prefer tea over coffee. (Mostly because coffee messes with my nerves and TEA IS LIFE)
• I am currently starting on my Digital Art journey.
• I have a cat whose name is Charlie. (She likes to talk a lot and has weird eating habits, but she is the love of my life)
• I like to cook and bake, even though it often turns out rather bad. It is a way of relaxation for me to mix something together to get a result you can (eventually) eat.
• I spend most of my Money on books, concert tickets and food.
• I love medieval festivals, medieval music and dressing up for fantasy fairs.
• I would like to travel Scotland, Ireland and Scandinavia one day. I hope this day will be soon- I would love to explore nature there!
• I feel the most relaxed when I am surrounded by trees. My dream house is a little hut in the forest with lake view.

I will write about my favourite books, movies and Music soon, so I do not want to spoil anything- if you are interested, stay tuned 🙂

This blog will mainly be about books, but I hope to write about music, culture and movies too. Basically, I want to share everything I love with you and would love to discuss and geek out about scenes, characters or ships. I want to create a safe space for everyone who loves books and art and all that fuzz. My goal is to grow as a person, get to know new perspectives and to discover new things in my life. This blog shall motivate me to keep going and to keep learning, because sometimes it is all too much, but life is worth it (I hope).
